Tulare County's Office of Emergency Services (OES) sponsors a number and a variety of courses and trainings throughout the year, which are posted on the calendar below. To register for a particular course or training:

These trainings range from introductory to function/position specific (which will likely require prerequisite trainings). Please see the Training Matrix and accompanying Training Levels Guidance document to help determine appropriate levels of training for staff.
Brief course and training descriptions follow:
The SEMS/NIMS/ICS Combined Course provides a basic overview of SEMS, NIMS and ICS. This course will identify the benefits of using these systems for incident and emergency management and identify the organizational principles of these systems.

- ICS 100 & 200 - Incident Command System
- IS-700a—National Incident Management System
Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents: ICS-300 provides training and resources for personnel who require advanced knowledge and application of the ICS. This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
Advanced ICS: This course provides training and resources for personnel who require advanced application of ICS. This course expands upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300.
